If you are considering Google PageRank as an important matrix of your SEO efforts, here is something you should pay attention to.

Google usually updates the PageRank score three or four times a year. It certainly has impacts on countless websites’ rankings and presence in Google search. Though the actual PageRank algorithm always remains a mystery, its implication is way beyond just a number.  According to the historical records below, Google is very possible to have another PageRank update in coming 2 months.

Google PageRank update history:
2013: 04-Feb
2012: 07-Nov, 02-Aug, 02-May, 07-Feb
2012: Google Penguin announced in Apr
2011: 08-Nov, 27-Jun, 20-Jan

PPD is not a SEO company and we can hardly tell you what to do in details, yet it’s good to review your web content in recent months, to review how your website is indexed by Google currently and to look for suggestions from SEO experts or relevant online resources for some actionable items. Our previous article provided a few handy tools that you may find useful.

Last but not least, it’s always a good idea to submit your company website to reputable directories like PPD. It’s a good mean to give it some quality “follow” backlinks from time to time.

Hi Roger, Thank you for your kind words.

The prophecy is in fact from you. The above article is inspired by your advices to us some weeks ago.

    haha…not at all.

Seems PPD is making good progress 🙂

I might contribute an article or two on Penguin 2.0 late on. For sure it takes some times for reseach and cases analysis.

Just one thing…never never “buy” backlinks for PPD, it hurts…
